Founder & Lead Instructor, AVEC
Dr. Mohamed Elshafey founded AVEC after living the foreign-trained veterinarian journey
himself. From navigating licensing barriers to rebuilding his career across multiple
countries, he experienced firsthand how confusing, isolating, and overwhelming the process
can be.
What began as a personal mission to simplify board preparation grew alongside his own
professional growth. As Dr. Elshafey advanced clinically and internationally, AVEC evolved
with him—expanding beyond exams to support confidence, career development, and long-term
success for veterinarians worldwide.
Our teaching is built on proven learning science. We use spaced repetition, retrieval practice, and structured reinforcement to improve retention, understanding, and long-term recall — not short-term memorization.
Learning at AVEC is interactive by design. Live sessions, case discussions, quizzes, and guided problem-solving replace passive watching and keep learners actively involved throughout the program.
